    "body": "<p><em>The StandardX, Melbourne</em> will continue its commitment to culture and creativity through a collaboration with <a href=\"https://agencyprojects.org/\"><u><em>Agency Projects</em></u></a>, celebrating First Nations Fashion.&nbsp;</p><p>From 21 October, a collection of works by Yarrenyty Atere Artists &ndash; an Aboriginal owned not-for-profit art centre located in the heart of Alice Springs &ndash; will be on display at the Fitzroy hotel, including a 2.5m screen-printed fabric installation which will take centre stage in the lobby. For a 2-week period, a curation of items will also be for sale in <em>The Box</em> &ndash; the hotel&rsquo;s concept store - featuring a capsule of collaborative Standard x YAA screenprinted merchandise as well as hand-crafted homewares and table linens made in Mparntwe (Alice Springs).&nbsp;</p><p>As part of the collaboration, The StandardX, Melbourne will host a breakfast panel conversation on Wednesday, 22 October, to spotlight Indigenous voices and leading First Nations designers. Hosted by Australian media commentator and television show producer Leila Gurruwiwi, the panel lineup will include:</p><ul class=\"release-content-list release-content-list--bulleted release-content-list--align-inherit\"><li><span>Mayatili Marika: A Rirratjingu Traditional Owner and Yol\u014bu woman from north-east Arnhem Land, known for her work in cultural leadership, curation, education, and international arts advocacy. In addition to her role as General Manager of First Nations Culture, Strategy &amp; Partnerships at Agency Projects, she is a passionate advocate for First Nations fashion and the founder of sustainable fashion label Countryman Collective.</span></li><li><span>Sonya Coleman: Visual Artist/Textile Designer. A proud Wirangu/Kokatha/Mirning Woman. Born in Ceduna, on the Far West Coast of South Australia.</span></li><li><span>Tahnee Edwards: Tahnee is a proud Yorta Yorta &amp; Taungurung woman, designer, business owner and community worker based in Naarm/Melbourne. Gammin threads is her creative outlet from her part-time job at Aboriginal family violence prevention service Djirra, where she works in Comms and Community Engagement. Tahnee has a love of typography and pop culture, and is inspired by culture, community and cool aunties.</span></li></ul><p>The collaboration aligns with the <a href=\"https://mfw.melbourne.vic.gov.au/event/opening-night-ganbu-marra-runway\"><u><em>ganbu marra First Nations Fashion Runway</em></u></a> on Monday, 20 October, further celebrating the strength and innovation of First Nations designers.&nbsp;</p><p>The <em>&lsquo;UNTOLD X The StandardX: First Nations Fashion as a Catalyst for Change&rsquo;</em> panel discussion at StandardX, Melbourne will take place at 8:30 AM on Wednesday, 22 October.
