This Valentine’s Day, The StandardX, Melbourne is reimagining Valentine’s Day with Love, Lust & Gluttony, a one-night-only celebration designed for unapologetic indulgence and unforgettable connection extending beyond traditional notions of romance.
Breaking away from typical Valentine’s day dining, Love, Lust & Gluttony invites guests to celebrate love in all its forms. The hotel’s restaurant, Bistro X will transform into a love fest and a love feast, with a playful evening designed for indulgence and connection of all sorts.
The evening will feature a generous Gluttony table showcasing a menu of oysters, charcuterie, crudites, cheeses, fried chicken, olives served alongside bubbles and dirty cocktails, alongside a ‘Happy Endings’ dessert table to finish the night on a sweet note.
To round out the night, one lucky guest in attendance will be randomly selected to receive a One Night Standard Stay at the StandardX that same evening, with the winner revealed on the night.
To celebrate StandardX, Melbourne is also partnering with local sexual wellness brand, High Tide. Guests can expect conversation cards, a few hidden surprises, and the chance to win a gift box from the modern adult store. Melbourne-based founders Paige Aubort and Søren Poulsen will also be in the room, open to casual chats and curious conversations.
A curated DJ set, charismatic hosts, cheeky surprises and interactive moments throughout the night will keep guests in the mood, ensuring a Valentine’s experience that is unapologetically indulgent.
\nGuests are encouraged to celebrate however they choose. Bring a partner, a pal, a lover or the gals. The experience embraces inclusivity and connection as an alternative to traditional Valentine’s Day dining.
Love, Lust and Gluttony will take place on Saturday, 14 February from 6 PM.
Tickets are priced at $89 per person, including arrival bubbles, access to the Gluttony table and the Happy Endings dessert table. Bookings available here.
Bistro X at The StandardX, Melbourne is open for breakfast seven days a week, dinner Tuesday to Saturday from 5 PM to 10 PM, and lunch service Friday and Saturday from 12 PM to 3 PM.
